We offer our members many ways to become more involved with the Human Leadership and Development Division of ASQ. Examples of current volunteer opportunities are listed below and may include project specific opportunities, serving as a committee member as well divisional leadership opportunities.

Current areas needing volunteers:
Strategy and Business PlanningSupport implementation of the Human Development and Leadership Division’s Business Plan by identifying required activities, timelines, and responsibilities for the various elements of ASQ’s Business Planning Process and in accordance with the Division Management Agreement. Typically up to 3 hours per month commitment.
PublicationsSupport the recruiting and encouraging contributors to newsletters, articles, website blog posts and primers. Ensures the quality of all HD&L publications. Typically requires 3-4 hours per month - special projects (development of a new course) may require higher time commitment for shorter durations.

Communication, Marketing and Social MediaSupport coordination of all communications (email, social media channels, etc.) to the membership ensuring consistent, high quality, ASQ compliant messaging as well as marketing of educational programs. Work with other division projects and committees to ensure clear and timely communication to members. Typically requires 4-6 hours per month commitment.
Standards and ProceduresSupport the development and maintenance of the standards, policies, procedures, and role descriptions for the Human Development and Leadership Division. Typically requires 2-6 hours per month commitment.

AuditReview of Division books in a timely manner to ensure they are being maintained properly and submissions, such as the audit report, are made to ASQ Headquarters as required. Must be independent of currently elected Division management. Typically requires 2-3 hours per quarter.
Education and WebinarsSupport the selection, creation, delivery, presentation and publication of both educational content and webinars related to our BOK and other areas of interest to our membership. Typically requires 3-4 hours per month - special projects (development of a new course) may require higher time commitment for shorter durations.
